hey, i read a thread today about how running lean can cause detonation, yes, i know this, but i alwayse thought of this in terms of turbo/ superchargers, i never really realised that small upgrades such as intakes can lead to this. im just running a Air Raid intake, magnaflow exhause and have been running a 91 octane tune on my 08v6. is this suffucent, if not any tips on how to safely make it run better or smoother or safer? im afraid to play around with the custom tunes without help.

thats more than fine yes. the air rade intake does not require a tune, but really comes to life when it is tuned, i have the same intake on my 2006 and i love it.

Agree... That tune should be more than enough.

I have a question on the diablosport tuner, im using the firm shift I heard that the v6 driveshaft sucks, and Im kicking into 2nd and 3rd real hard, I mean real hard Im I risking snapping my DriveShaft or should I only worry If I go past 120mph which I wont do.

It's not gonna snap... I have run mine on the firm shifting for a month and everything is still great.
