Default cost of new wheels

Well I went to a local tire shop today to find me some new wheels, probalby chrome 18", and found dissapointment in the selection of wheels and the prices. Of a couple different wheels I picked out I found out that they were gonna be expensive. For a basic set of 18s and tires I was priced around $1200 and an additional $250 to go with that aggressive stance with wider wheels in the back. My question is am I getting an ok deal, what yall have paid, and if I should just order some wheels online.

You should look into Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle for wheel/tire combos.

I don't think $1,200 is bad for 4 rims and 4 tires.

2 tires at Mr. Tire ran me $800. Some places, 1 rim can run you $400 each.
