Have no idea about shipping to Australia, but you might want to look at '08s.
Here in San Diego, where I live, there's a '08 Shelby GT on clearance sale at about $25,000. They're trying to get rid of the '08s right now.
I saw it when I was getting my oil changed last weekend. It was white and had absolutely no miles on it. Maybe 1 or 2. Brand new.
Shelby GTs normally go for about $38,000. In my opinion, and seemingly every one elses, $38,000 is too high for that car. But at $25,000, It's got to be one of the best deals I've seen in a long time.
If the total cost of shipping and MSRP is any kind of issue, I would suggest taking a look at what's clearancing out right now. I'm sure the price difference is more than enough to make up for freight.
Sorry, I don't know anything about currency conversion either. Prices I just said are USD.
