Default Gauge Lighting Question

I installed a Autometer Boost gauge a few weeks ago. I housed it in a Roush Vent Pod and I purchased a fused "Easy Circuit" to connect it up to power to light it, however, my only option if I hook it up to the new circuit is to have it come on every time I turn the ignition on. I would rather have it on only when my headlight are on. Can anyone expain to me how I might want to go about wiring it up so that it only comes on when I switch on the headlights?
Thanks!

Assuming that it runs off 12v like most everything else in a car does, i'd say to find the 12v coming off the back of the headlight switch and cut into it with the power wire for your gauge light.

What I can't figure out is... Your sig doesn't list a super/turbocharger so why do you want a boost gauge?

Black05Pony,
I just like my car to "look" fast. I thought the boost gauge would impress the ladies! Just kidding - I have X-Charger #78 and I have updated my signature to reflect it. Sorry about the confustion.
Thanks

I figured as much, but you never know. Lots of people out there adding random mods for no reason other than to look cool.
