Default Mods for a v6 Mustang.

Hey guys, I am new here. I got a mustang because I loved the car (new 2009). It is my first car.

I am paying for it, as I build websites, sell websites, code, etc online.

However, I am sick of the remarks at school about how a Celica GTS and what not can beat my "LOL v6" stang. Help me out guys!

I will be doing mods little by little over the span of a year most likely. I've had the car for a month and have just changed the appearance. Here is a pic:

People also call me crazy for getting an auto, but really I would have ruined a manual transmission on a new car.

Let me know what I should do, I really am thinking about nitro. Anyone have any here? Is it bad for the engine or will it age the engine more than usual?

Thanks guys!
Nick

P.S. I know NOTHING about cars, if you are trying to help be as descriptive as possible please

Also, I am curious to know what is better, a K&N Intake or a bbk. Bbk seems cheaper and more HP, I wonder why...

Welcome, you'll find all you need to know about mustangs here. First and formost, the mustang is a 'pony' show car not necessarily a race car, especially not the v6 model. For less then $1000 you can add between 30 and 40 rwhp and torque which is a major change. A less restrictive exhaust, I have dual flowmasters myself, but a simple gt take off will do, a cai and a tune will get this done for you. In terms of the juice I would say absolutly not, but not everyone agrees with me. Its NOT good for the engine and unless you want to be in the Fast and the Furious its not a very respectful and safe mod to a pony. And I take it your young, just remind others your paying for a new mustang yourself and it is an EXTREMELY nice car. And if they continue to argue, Ive beat many Celicas, and in about a year my V6 will be a vette killer which will definatly draw some attention and prove the power of the V6
