Default Driveshaft safety loop?

Hey all,
I just noticed that Shaftmasters recomends a safety loop for the 4" aluminum I got from them. Web shows all kinds of different manufacturers and also has fronts and rears. Anyone have a recomendation on a setup? I like the Steeda one, but a bit pricey. I would want one that the carpet doesn't need to be lifted for the drilling and instalation.
Thanks!
-Brian

why do they recommend the safety loop? are you planning on racing ? I know they are required at 100mph plus there?
I have one(shaftmaster) and they never mentioned it to me.

It says it right on their site.

"Shaftmasters Inc. highly recommends the use of a Driveshaft Safety Loop
with all aluminum driveshafts."

I have one. I like it. But if its so much better and safer than stock why do they recommend the safety loop?

Thanks, just ordered one from Powerhouse411.com. Looks like a real decent piece and don't have to take out the carpets. Now if I only had a Panhard and a UCA... LOL!

Could be to cover their butts in a lawsuit if one breaks, who knows. For less than 100$ I think it's worth it just for a piece of mind.
