I've searched for this a bunch but no real answers. Pypes sells a dual exhaust kit for like 300+ with out mufflers but couldnt you just use pypes xpipe and gt over axles to connect to gt mufflers? I know you need two more exhaust hangers for like 50 bucks but the xpipe goes for around 90. I figure the distance from the x pipe back has to be same v-6 or gt? has anybody tried this? I also know pypes x pipe is adifferent part number for v-6 than gt but figure that is the spacing off the cats?
Im fairly certain that this will not work, just has to do with some minor differences, I got mine custom made true dual by a local shop alot cheaper, just go out to some non chain exhaust mechanic and let him take a look

one act of kindness at a time
I have a pypes X pipe with a GT takeoff dual exh, fits just fine and your right you will need 2 additional exh brackets at the back, all 4 bracket are the same and they are about 50 apiece, I found a GT takeoff on Ebay for $80 with all 4 brackets the brackets is all I really wanted, I already had a magnaflow duals with one bracket on each side. I took the whole exh off and replaced it with the takeoff.
did more research and a gt x pipe wont work as the v-6 exhaust is smaller up from buy walker through dynomax makes an x pipe that works with the gt driverside pipe or you could use a gt x or h pipe and weld in reducers on the motor side I have an extra set of gt exhaust hangers for sale if somebody is interested. just enough for one side you can use your stock v-6s on the pass side.
