Hello,

After my mustang is warmed up from driving it will periodically do one of two things:

1) surge down and stall out when stopped at a light

2) The Idle will Surge really high then jump back down low, then High again.


Also when driving in gear I can now feel the rpm's pulling the car higher in that gear than before (IE, the car is in 2nd and I'm not hitting the gas the RPM's are high and the car is pulling along)

The car has 40,000 miles.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Clean your throttle body. If that doesn't work, I'd suspect a faulty Throttle Position Sensor.
