You should be able to. Regardless of the lamps you're using you should be recieving 12v to them so you could swap them out, if you've got the right connectors on there. I'm not sure what the connectors for the PP lights look like, but I know that you can get 'pigtails' (connectors with about 8" of wire on them for splicing) at autozone for like 3.99 each. If the connectors are different then clip off the PP connectors, leaving 6-8" in case you want to go back to PP later, and splice in the GT pigtail with red butt-splice connectors. Wrap the splice with electrical tape or use heat-shrink tubing to protect it from weather.

I forget the part number of the GT pigtail but you can ask the autozone guys and they'll look it up for you.

I believe there is a kit from Street Sceen to extend the wires, check on line.
I did an 06 V6 to this config with out having any previous lights and they supplied the harness with good instructions. Looks great

You would think that with the lights being in generally the same place that they'd reach. Or are you talking about the street scene center mount grille?

thanks for everyones input and help. I may have to get the extenders if I decide to get the street scene center mount. Which do you guys prefer the stock gt look or re street scene center mount? I'm having trouble deciding.

I went with the stock GT look myself, but its not a perfect fit. You can get other GT style grilles that have the fogs in almost the same location but there are none that have the honeycomb pattern on them.

The center mounts are OK looking, if you add a tri-bar pony emblem on one side or the other. I considered this route but I like the stock GT look a lot better. I've got like a foot of extra wire on each side so I could buy the center mount grille and just transfer my fogs over anytime I want to use it.

Here's one (if their advertising is right).
Ford Mustang Auto Parts and Trucks Hoods Manufacturer Expert: Hoods, Wings, Ground Effect Kits, Lights, Styling Bars and Much More

Click lights, grills and emblems, then 2005 and up, towards the bottom of the page there is a "GT Grill for V6"

Unfortunately they show a GT in the picture unless someone has replaced the bumper cover since there is no notch-out for the license plate.

I've already sent an email to them asking for a "real" picture.
