Didn't realize that K&N had a CARB #. That's good..
You have to drill down to the K&N intake for you car to see if the are CARB exempt (comes with CARB sticker)- the Typhoon metal tube one is, the other black tube one (less restrictive more common one) is not....Not sure if you'd have a problem in CA. They don't really care visually in NYC as long as it passes on the computer.
