I have a 2008 v6 5speed with the upgraded interior package (leather, radio, etc..) but the one thing I feel I'm lacking is the info center. I think its also tied to the mycolors option so I'm assuming if I add one, the other sorta comes with.
I've read some other threads concerning this and I have a question, its been mentioned that you can swap the guage cluster out but the harness will only be present on cars with Traction control...I have a 5speed and you can't get TC on them so am I out of luck for the gauge swap?
I'm going to go out and look behind the blanks for the info center switches tommorow morning and see if theres anything back there either way. Just wanted to know what I could expect.
I've got an 05 5 speed with the info center and MyColor, so the harness should be back there. I've heard that they may have stopped putting the harness in cars that were not getting the MyColor after the 2005 year.

Even if you dont have the harness behind the blank switch you can still add the wires, all you have to do is get the connectors at a junk yard and get the wiring hook up and add the extra four wires to the speedometer. There are a few people that have done it including me.

i had the harness in my early 05 and i dont have traction control or abs. from what ive gathered, they omitted the switch harness sometime in 06. i did the swap, and have a good post going with a writeup and pics in the stickys. check it out http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...teup-pics.html

It doesn't matter if you have a 5 speed or auto, the pony package was the only v6 option that gave you TCS. I have TCS on my 5speed, I turn it off most every time I drive the car, and when I forget to, I'm reminded why I always turn it off.
Also, I think the only time you get the info center is with the mycolor option installed, but I'm not sure at all about the wiring being there or not.

i don't have the pony package but i have tcs. it was an option just like anything else. it just came standard with the pony package.
