Default Help with installing these tail lights on a 2005 Mustang

OK here is my original post. I have been trying to install these tail light in my 2005 mustang and I can not seem to make them work properly, so I need some one here who is square away, to square me away. LOL I will appreciate any help. I am including some pictures so you can see the wiring in the vehicle.

Hey good day to you, OK here is my question.

I just received my ABC Design Ford Mustang Tail Lights. The problem I am having is that the light fit and the plug fits as well, the problem is that when I plug them in only the outer light comes on. So do I need to rewire? I have a USA Mustang and the lights are from the UK. So what do you guys think I should do? If you have any instructions square me away. Thanks and have a good day.

You don't need to re-wire, they are working properly. The inside red's are connected to your brakes and the middle light is your reverse light, and the outer lights are the regular "on" lights. Connect the lights again, turn the lights on and have a look, then take something heavy to rest against your brake pedal (or have a friend push the brakes) and you'll see what I mean.

Default Thanks

Hino the middle light is the turn signal. The light comes with a reverse light at the bottom like the original lights.

Yeah you're right. Did you see what I was talking about with the brake lights? You can wire the lights to both stay on normally if you want but you'll need to put a 2 stage bulb in the middle lights for when you hit the brakes.

Hi Hino,

Did you get the tail lights wired up ?? If not I can give you instructions on how to do it correctly without blowing out the SJB.
