Default Pictures from an 8.8 rear end swap and Shaftmasters 4" aluminum.

Can't seem to find a way to put notes next to each picture. Hopefully these come out in the order I uploaded them. I tried to take as many pictures as I could, but you get caught up in it and forget to take a few here and there.

Pic 1, as it shipped from newtakeoff.com
Pic 2, gear label
Pic 3, Needs some paint before going under the car!
Pic 4, Inside of the 8.8
Pic 5, The Purple treatment.
Pic 6, FRPP Rear Diff cover, comes with the bearing preloads. VERY nice piece!
Pic 7, Take off the calipers, wire them out of the way.
Pic 8, Remove the splash shields
Pic 9, Remove ABS sensor
Pic 10, Old Driveshaft Diff end
Pic 11, Old drive shaft Tranny end
Pic 12, Now you see it
Pic 13, Now you dont
Pic 14, Tranny side, minus the DS
Pic 15, Tranny jack with Diff straped on
Pic 16, On rag top make sure you got a nice long extention, this bolt was WAY up there!
Pic 17, Upper control arm bolt, this one was really the only tough one on the whole job
Pic 18, Now that the old Diff is out you need to strip it down and move some stuff to the new Diff
Pic 19, New rear ready to go back in.
Pic 20, New rear on the jack (don't forget to strap it) and going in to place.
Pic 21, Diff is now in, new DS is in too, moving on to the CHE DS Loop, again, very nice piece use big fender washers to hold it in place in prep for the drilling.
Pic 22, Here's a neat little trick, take some fuel line and put it on your bits, stops you from going too deep, in this case going thru your carpet inside!
Pic 23, DS Loop completed.
Pic 24, Just a shot of the Hurst Short Throw from the bottom without the DS in the way.

Very nice... Didn't realize you'd sprung for the new diff cover too.
