Alright so ive been trying to get a staright answer and i cannot. This is my question. Could i buy the SLP loud mouth for the 2005 Mustang GT and take only one muffler out of the box and put it on my 2005 mustang V6? If you could answeer that thanks you so much.

PS. would it sound alright?

they use the stock hangers
but why would u spend that much just for one?

exdus209 thanks sooo much! well me gonna be like 17 i dont got that much miney to go dual and i can put on the SLP myself i dont need a shop to do it so its basically the cost of the muffler thats y

With the price of a GT SLP Loudmouth kit being over $300, it might be cheaper to have a shop do your exhaust.

SLP Loudmouths are just straight pipes with polished chrome tips and hangers in the proper places to fit a Mustang. You could get the same sound and look if you went to a shop and had them install a straight pipe with a rolled chrome tip on it and you'd probably pay around $150 or less.

I'm not sure how good the SLP's sound on the v6 model but its probably very similar to running with no muffler. Try taking your muffler off and driving to see if you like it. If you don't then you may want to consider another muffler, possibly a Borla or Flowmaster.
