Default 2005 v-6 Strut tower brace install. Is there any tricks?

New to the forums here. I own a 05 v-6 and just picked up the frpp bullitt strut brace. I plan on doing the install myself and was wondering if there is any specific install tricks to it??. It didnt come with any instructions and seems to be straight forward. I just dont want to do anything wrong.

With the "old fashoned" strut tower braces (I installed on on every mercury cougar I had) you needed to unload the front suspension by jacking the car from just behind both front wheels, this unloads the front framerails (or unibody as the case may be) and allows for proper geometry when installing the brace. install it and tighten it down with the car on the jackstands and imo you will get a better install. It will probably just drop in without doing that, but if the fenders are saggin in on each other a bit, unloading them is the best bet. In my old cougars, you COULDNT do it without lifting the car, because they had sagged in so much over the years that they physically moved in about .060 and it wouldn't drop in without spreading the fenders or lifting the car.
