Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me! You can run the non-intercooled at 8 psi and you'd be just fine.

if you plan to buy the Vortech, don't spend money ritght now on a CAI and tuner. The Kit comes with a tuner and its own intake. Save the dough and spend it on the vortech.

i would look into powerhouse turbo, you REALLY get thrown back in your seat, much more then my dads GT which is modded by the way. Feel free to ask questions unless your hooked on the vortech

Default look into the X

The X charger comes with everything down to the wire ties it is a complete kit everything you need to install and go, you don't have to buy anything seperate.( like injectors )

Vortech's kit comes with injectors as well, which kit are you eluding to that doesn't? The Vortech kit comes complete and ready to bolt on, the only differences and difficulty level that is any higher with the aftercooled kit, is taking the front bumper cover off for mounting of the aftercooler heat exchanger, the rest seems pretty cut and dry.
