Default Just bought my SCT Xcal3, Need a quick help!

Hey everyone
Im really happy that i bought the tuner finally and its UNLOCKED as the owner checked it under device info and stats is unlocked with 5 unlocks left , however the CAI is not purchased yet, i found a really nice deal on this tuner so didnt go combo. It will be here soon, i just want to know that is there a way to erase the whole device so i can put the Bamachips tune on it. It already has 3 Evolution perf. custom tunes on it which wont work for me, I know for Xcal2 you can erase device and everything will be clear but for this i dont see a option in X3Livewire updater.
Also i probably will buy the Demolet CAI so can i buy my custom tune from Doug and tell him my future mod is Demolet intake, so will his tune still work if i dont have my intake installed? Secondly if i install my intake will the same tune he sent me work on my intake because i already said in the description my future mod is Demolet intake? or would i need to buy a separate tune again.
Thanks guys, please make me clear on those questions

The SCT X CAL3 loads its tune using Live Load software that you must download to your computer. Once you have loaded this software you can load tunes to your programmer and overwrite the tunes that are already on the tuner. However, you must tell Doug at Bamachips what CAI you will be running because he must write the tunes according to the size of the MAF that your CAI uses. You cannot load tunes to your car with the stock intake in place, you need to make sure you install your CAI and tunes at the same time as the two work together. The CAI increases air flow and the tuner tell your computer what corrections to make for the increased airflow.

Thanks for the reply. Actually i was spending lots of times yesterday on SCT site and their FAQs and they said for X3 you must use the same software that uses on Liverwire which called X3Livewire updater and they had a write up on how to transfer custom files, see now this is the part i get confuse, whose right and whose wrong
If you want i can put the site that they had write up here

You'll also need to provide him with the Xcal2 serial #.

I wouldn't run the tune. It'll be expecting more air so It'll probably run rich.
