It says in his sig that he has custom dual exhaust.

How many psi are you planning on running? if you stay on the safe side like 8 psi you should be alright with your stock block unless you are going to race it. Go with a good conservative tune and don't drive like a raped ape 24/7 and you should be good.

+1 on the 3.73 gears

I have heard the Turbo takes time to wind up,,,,seconds, miliseconds who knows how much time they are arguing about and how noticeable it really is. My xcharger with the 3:73 gears and T loc is very fast form a standing start, smoking tires is very easily done. I have'nt seen a turbo and supercharger side by side so I cant say which is quicker. So many variables.
In my opinion the X just looks better when you pop the hood, screams down the road and Its easier to instal also.
The debate will rage on like ford vs chevy as to which is better.
I think the superchargers low end torque will be more noticeable stoplight to stoplight,,,

for stoplight to stoplight you cant beat the torque shelf of the positive displacment supercharger. i have an x charger hipo and absolutely love it. my friend who used to give me **** about it being a 6 (he drives an 02 roush stage 3) has nothing but good things to say about it now. plus being a daily driver, driving arround below boost you will get great gas milage, i get better now than i did back when stock. either form of forced induction will add gobs of power to the car, either will be just as much fun as the other, it all comes down to what you want. if you wish to go w/ long tube headers though stick to a supercharger because unless you get a squires the powerhouse is not compatible w/ the long tubes.

the turbos are probably the higher performing choice. stacking up at the track a turbo charged stang will run faster everytime with the same bolt ons, gears and so on that the supercharged car will. the only draw backs with turbos is that theyre much more expensive in instal and the system whole, and yes they do take time to build, but when you get your boost up, it really lays you back in the seat. s/c's like the x and vortech are a much simpler way to reach hp/tq gains that you want and the infamous high pitched banshee scream with huge amouts of low end torque with the instant power to the wheels, but if youre looking at track times the turbo is what you want. i myself have decided to wait on the x charger w/ intercooler simply b/c im a college student and money is really important. haha. ill definatley be living on ramen noodles for a while while i recooperate from the burning sensation in my pocket. if you spend time looking around youll find other posts im sure that will explain further which system is best for your needs. also be looking for tillmanspeeds turbo system for the 6, its under testing and research right now from what i hear, and theyre expecting to change the way a lot of ppl are goin to look at t/c mustangs.
