Default Procharger Oil Change

Yesterday after calling procharger to order a new air filter I found out for the first time that I need to change the oil every 6,000 miles in the system. The problem is the dealer who I bought the car from never told me anything about this and I thought the procharger took oil from the engine.

So now 16,000 miles later and no oil change on my procharger, I am hoping by the time the new oil comes nothing would have went wrong inside of my procharger. Is there any way I can tell about if not changing the oil on my system messed anything up on the inside. Or am I just lucky that everything still seems to be working yet? Im just worried I might have worn the bearings down or something and am headed for a catastrophe. I checked the dipstick on the system and it is completely covered in the blue oil so im guessing it still is full.

If there were a problem with a spun bearing, you'd know from the sound. Just change it and you should be fine.

yea, chargers like the vortech and the x have their own oil resivoir, self contained i should say, which eliminates tapping the cars oil pan and adding to the simplicity of todays s/c's. they definately should have included htat when you bought it.
