Thanks for the information. I am still a little fuzzy on the "tune" still. I assume I need to take it to the dealer for that, and if so..... what "exactly" do I ask for? I mean.... they ask me.. "what do you want"... I say "A Tune"....... they say.... "A Tune What"...... LOL ....... sounds like a bad knock knock joke,

....
I cant really afford a good intake right now, and to be honest I am not sure when or if i will. I am looking for a CHEAP intake for two reasons.
#1 - I need a new Air Filter with is $11 so by the time I need 5 of them, I would have paid for a CHEAP intake with a re-useable cone filter.
#2 - I like the sound it makes..
Although an HP gain is nice, my pockets are empty and my reasoning does not support one.
So, if I buy some CHEAP $60 intake for the above reasons, will I still need a "tune" , and what will happen if I DO NOT get one?????????
To sum this up..... my two questions were.....i want a little more info on the "tune" and what I ask for to get one at a dealership, AND.... what (if anything) will happen if i add a cheap intake WITHOUT a "tune"???????
Thanks in advance guys and sorry to drudge up a OLD thread...
