You'll need to jack your car up and put it on jackstands (because it's safer). Then you'll need a few sockets, maybe a crescent wrench and some WD-40, PB Blaster or other type of spray lubricant to help you unbolt the stock piping.
I dunno, I had the true duals, and while they sound good at an idle, they rattle, and make a raspy noise when you rev it...then again, probably a lack of pressure from the V6..make sure if you don't have the GT bumper you make an even cut out for the left side
The Y pipe needs to be cut after the cats and the JBA H installed. The H can be welded or clamped... I would suggest welding the H. The rest of the system is clamped on.

my gt mufflers should be here today or tomorow. `im thinking about ordering the h pipe also. i know we need some mounting hardware for the other muffler, but am not quite sure if its a dealer thing. maybe someone who has installed this could comment please

1. Jack up the vehicle so you can crawl underneath.
2. You have to cut the Y pipe. Easiest way is to measure and mark under the vehicle, then unbolt it from the collectors and remove it so you can cut it with a chop saw or hacksaw.
3. Bolt the Y pieces back in (there's 2 now with the Y part cut off) and line everything up. Either use the included clamps to clamp them on or weld them.
4. The kit comes with the necessary hangers for the extra muffler. The holes are also already there in the underside of your vehicle to mount them but they aren't threaded. Some folks just crank the bolts in and cut the threads with the bolts but a much better choice would be to use a thread tapper to cut the threads in the holes (very inexpensive). Buy it for $20 or rent it at most auto parts stores.
5. You'll have to cut a half-moon into the rear valence bumper cover with a dremel or buy and paint a GT bumper cover. Do a search here. There's several sets of directions on this site to do it. I have yet to hear of anyone that's messed it up and made a bad cut in the plastic.

if it's the JBA true duals you won't have a 2nd Y-pipe...you'll have to cut your factory Y off even with one of your hield shield screws underneath the car in order to put the JBA runner up to your factory piping. you have two heat shields on the driver's side, and one on the passenger. the rear-most heath shield on the driver's side is where you should be able to cut both pipes of the Y and weld/clamp on the JBA stuff.
