Default Go with GT-takeoff rear sway bar or a steeda rear sway bar?

Hey guys, I created a post a couple days ago about EVERYTHING i wanted to do to my car and didnt get many responses so ill try one thing at a time, starting with the rear sway bar. Is the GT rear sway bar just as good as the Steeda ones or should i go with the Steeda? Any other good brands i should look at?

The GT sway bar would be just fine. No real need to spend the extra dough.

Im not a hundred precent on this one but I do believe that you should save the money and stick with the gt sway bars as they were made to be pretty relieable. Use that money you save and invest in some lowering springs or some other suspension upgrade. Even the pony package front suspension is not nearly as good as the gt's so I'd recommend picking up the the gt takeoff.

Awsome. With that on the way, is there much difference between the v6 and GT shocks and struts? Price plus shipping is about $130. Also, what lowering springs have people used and liked?

Ive finally made my decision on the eibach pro springs for the V6. Ive heard from several they are a good brand and I'll let you know more after I install them at the beginning of next week.

I found them on Jegs.com for $210
Eibach 35100.140 - Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs for Cars - JEGS

They seem to be good. I was looking for about an inch drop and these are 1.3 fr and 1.4 rear. Is that the same price you got yours for or should i be looking somewhere else?

That seems to be a fair price, I got mine through a dealer wholesale warehouse but you would have to have a buisness liscence to do that. And thats the same kit I ordered and that drop is an average amount so you should be pleased. I should get mine on at the beginning of the week and will get some pictures up.

I think I have decided to not lower my mustang, or at least im going to wait for the rear sway bar and see how it is. I want to avoid lowering it though for clearance reasons, I have a steep driveway and have to drive over alot of speed bumps at the college i go to.

To everyone that installed GT take off rear sway bars, almost all sites i have found do not include the bolts, can i use some grade-A bolts? Also, the rear lower arms look pretty weak, has anyone upgraded them for some handleing improvement??
