Default Mustang V6 underdrive pulleys

Hi ya'll! I have a question which I hope you can help me with. I have a 2006 4.0 V6. I can't figure out whether to get 42% underdrive pulleys or 25% under drive pulleys. I'd also like to know the best tuner I can get for my car. I don't know if this makes a difference, but in about a year, I plan to install a supercharger. So far, I've installed a cold air intake, dual exhaust and lowering springs. Thanks in advance forall your help.

Are the underdrive pulleys still $200+ for the V6?

Any good installation guides out for the UDP install? I really want to get one because it is a great deal for 275 bucks, 10 more hp and 2+ mpg's. However, I am waivering on buying because of the difficulty involved, was wondering if there are any guides out there, because I can't find one.

I was wondering....... Since you can get smaller pullies for the superchargers to increase bost, theorretically cant you use an underdrive crank pully with a higher boost pully and end up with a simmilar net boost on the supercharger for less of a parasitic loss at the crank? (theoretically of course)

Seriously though, if you bought a .42 underdrive pully and a 14 psi pully for the supercharger, then the net boost would be 8.2 psi (if you wanted only to run 8 psi) and you would have the benefit of the boost AND the benifit of the reduced drag........ neting 10 more hp at the flywheel than if you used the stock pullies

RIGHT???

(not really planning to do this, but it COULD be done right?)

That can work, in theory. But you have to be careful of going too small on the blower pulley. Harder to turn the blower, and you can get belt slip, I believe.

I don't think you ever want to underdrive a supercharge.
