Default 07 v6 mustang power additions?

Ok, i have a 07 v6 mustang, everything in the car is stock at the moment. I have around $10,000 to spend on the car, and all parts would be professionally installed. I was wanting some suggestions from everyone on things i should get.

Mainly im looking for power, and a loud agressive noise loosing some gas mileage does not matter.

I want to be pusing out around 350-400 rwhp, and i need some suggestions on how to get there.

Some things i have been looking at

Powerhouse411 intercooled turbo
Vortech intercooled supercharger
4.10 gearing
T-Loc
True-Dual Flowmasters
Cold Air Intake
JBA shorty headers
A Tuner
70mm throttle body

A couple things i just dont know, is it more worth it to get 2 small turbos built, or go with a powerhouse411 turbo. i just dont know how big that turbo is.

Everything ive leared about all this is off these forums, and website research over the past couple of months, so i may not understand everything your say, so if you could speak in a dumbed down language that would be great.

I have heard that having a T-loc is great and a must-have. Im going with 3.73 gears i think. With 4.10 gearing, I figured i would be a little higher than 3k rpm at around 80mph. I dont want to cut my gas milage down that much but if you dont mind then go for it. I have heard that true duels dont really do alot in our v6's, but with a turbo or two it might help. Both the Vorteck and powerhouse come with tuners, so dont worry about that yet because they use different ones so you have to kinda decide on a turbo first. I am kinda in the same boat as you except I have a 05.

so its more suggested to go with 3.73 gearing, if your running a turbo so you dont max at your rpms at max speed? and blow your engine

ive also heard that a new 70mm throttle body is not necessary unless im wanting to push out some massive boost. Whats a safe amount of boost to run on the car if i go with a powerhouse turbo, without the throttle body, and then whats the boost with the 70mm throttle body, because im all for being put back in my seat but not 100% destroying my car because of the boost, i just like accelerating fast + racing

The throttle body will not affect the amount of boost your engine can handle. You will probably blow a head gasket or your rear end if you put too much boost into the stock engine. Most people put about 9psi max.

and if i put the 8.8 in rear end like you said how much boost would the rear end be able to take? and how much does it cost for the item + installation.

And How much does it cost to fix a blown head gasket?

It won't affect the exhaust at all. As for heads/cams, try Super Six Motorsports

$10K can get you plenty! Anything over that I'd strongly consider a GT, but that's just me. We considered trading our 08 for a GT already, but didn't want the hassle of getting spanked on the trade and looing for a deal. Now I want to take the time and money and build a low profile sleeper. For $10K you should be able to whomp GT's, even some of the mdded GT's.

First thing I'd do is consider deciding on the power adder, the cornerstone, everything else falls into place after that. Are you trying to maintain a daily driver status or going balls out on the 1/4? For daily drivers I've read the X Charger fits the bill, for 1/4's go with the turbos, Powerhouse has a reat rep. Decide on this before the CAI/tuner so you're not spending money twice.

The rearend options will get you lots of different opinions. The 8.8 has more suface area, a bit more power handling. Some say they hit 500hp (using juice) on the 7.5, but I'm not sure that's safe or accurate, 300hp shouldn't be a problem. Didn't Ford start using the 8.8 once they were getting big power out of the 5.0s? Personally I like the 8.8 better. Whichever you decide, ditch the stock driveshaft for a one piece aluminum shaft from Shaftmasters, Spyder, etc. Those stocks shafts no likee going over 120mph.

Look into swapping the front rotors, caliper mounts for GT rotors and mounts. The calipers are the same.

Then you'll be needing suspension parts...springs, LCA's, UCA's adjustable panhard, etc..

It's easy spending someone elses money Seriously, read up and read some more. Tackle some of the installs yourself to save a buck or two.

you need to talk to xchris about his power house turbo set up. I believe he has the 7.5 rear end in there right now. and at under 9 psi he is putting 350+ hp to the wheels along with 400+ torque. Its likely he will see this thread and you guys can PM it up. I am going to go with the 4.10s bc i have an automatic and do not need to worry about going through 1st and 2nd gear too fast. I am going to go with the 8.8 as well, because eventually I am going to SC it.

any cheaper way to upgrade to the 8.8 or is $900 for the whole rear end the best deal?
