Default C&L intake quick help!!!

Hey everyone i just received my C&L intake and it looks awesome, now i just need to wait for the SCT X3 to show up, already got the 91 Race tune from Doug as well in my email. So i was looking at the intake and this part confused me, does anyone know where to plug or what should i put on this 2 small holes, it is right beside and under the MAF sensor

That look likes what you actually connect to the MAF but not 100% sure. Show a picture of the entire CAI and I might be of more use

Those have to be some sort of mounting holes since they are threaded. Do they go all the way through? Surely it came with instructions.

It is not where you connect the MAF. That part is seen in the second picture. And I don't think it is to mount to the Heat Shield. The holes are parallel with the wall of the heat shield. I haven't a clue.

Yes it does come with instruction but it didnt say anything about this, I read the whole paper word by word. Anyone here running C&L on V6? Actually when i look inside the intake i dont see anything except the MAF hole. Maybe its something extra for other purposes, heres couple more pics

I believe that you should have recieved a mounting bracket and a bolt or two so that you can mount you're CAI to the right valve cover. You will have to remove a Valve cover bolt to mount the angle bracket and then to the cold air intake. Makes for a more ridgid installation.

Cheers
Mike

Hey man I just put that kit in yesterday. The two holes on the bottom ARE in fact for the included mounting bracket. I didnt use it and it doesnt seem to have a negative impact. To be honest I couldnt even see a place that came close to lining up to bolt it too.

If you have anymore questions on the kit let me know

Use the bracket. The C&L is heavy and they sometimes come loose from the throttle body.

Do you have a picture of where to mount the bracket to? Im new to all this but I couldnt find somewhere to attach it that it would reach to.

Mine also came with the wrong directions so I kind of had to guess a little (good thing its an easy install, lol)

Should mount to a valve cover bolt.

Yea if anyone have a picture would be great, i bought this from a member so it doesnt come with a bracket, it have everything showed on my previous post last picture. It would be really nice if anyone can get me and Turanza2 a picture of where to place it, its too far from the valve cover
