Default 05 v6 abs reset?

OK, so since it's cooling off rapidly here, I figured I needed to get my car ready for the winter. I have had my abs and tcs lights on for a couple of months now, but was putting it off. Doing some research, I decided to pull of the wheels, and sure enough, i had a pretty severe layer of caked on dirt/brakedust on the driver's front tire abs sensor. I cleaned it off and put it back in place and feel that this probably should correct the problem, but the lights are still on and I am thinking until the abs is reset, it might not turn the abs back on. Does anyone know how to reset the system? I have tried disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes, but it is still on when i start the car back up which makes me think it was not reset at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS - In case it matters I have a flowmaster muffler and airaid cai w/ diablosport airid kit tune (and I did take it back to stock and reinstall the airiad tune, didnt help).

Before you start resetting any warning lights, you need to get a code reader and find out exactly what caused the ABS light to come on in the first place. Go to Auto Zone and borrow a code reader, it's free. Your brake system isnt' something you want to play guessing games with and your car activates the warning lights to let you know it has fault codes you need to address.
