It's funny how once you have a Stang you rarely look at other cars like you did before you had one. A previous poster said "welcome to a lifestyle." Truer words never spoken.

Now that you have the perfect car, you can rip it apart to modify it.

i'll extend a welcome to you, i am fairly new and the forums seem fairly nice and helpfull so you should enjoy it. I must say you'll probably love the car, i guess it is as they say, once you own a mustang you love them forever lol.

Welcome. I bought a 2007 Alloy color convertable about a month ago. I have owned lots of cars but I must say this is the best one. Only a v6 but the gas milage is great and I love to drive it. I just love the car and you will too. I can't quit washing and waxing it. There is a lot of help to be found on this site. Enjoy.

I just bought my first two weeks ago and already adding upgrades right and left. How do you know do you know fi some put in a chip or its just tuned?

Congrats on the mustang, but why bring up such an old thread.

There really is no sure fire way to tell, except for having the dealer run a scan to ensure everything is stock.

I bought my first mustang about 3 weeks ago. '07 V6 Pony Package. Didn't need the V8 horsepower but wante to handle the twisties. Getting nearly 30mpg on the highway is great! You will love driving it!

Unfortunately, I also got the hard to fill gas tank as part of the deal. That is a real pain. I thought that was supposed to have been fixed in the '07s. Small price to pay for the joy you get driving it!

haha i thought i was gonna cry when i saw this thread revived. it's almost a year later and you can see how much i've modded and how active in the community i've become. i read some of the posts that were made and it's almost shocking how true they were "welcome to a lifestyle" "It's funny how once you have a Stang you rarely look at other cars like you did before you had one."

oh my gosh, they should rename the mustang "heroin" because once you try it you're freaking addicted and just can't stop. the more you feed the monster, the hungrier it gets.

Thanks guys. Mine has some mods already, Hurst shift, dauls, stripes,stering wheel and I am still finding some the other owner has done. I have added my color speedometer and love it. I got my floor mats from american muscle and they are fine.
