Default Will a V6 grille fit a GT bumper?

I have an aftermarket grille with lights on my V6 bumper right now, but due to some scuffing, I am looking at having to replace my bumper. If I do so, the cheapest way would be to buy a GT takeoff in my color, and I was wondering if my V6 grille will fit the GT facia, I know guys have shoehorned the GT into the V6, but haven't heard of people doing the opposite, anyone out there have any experience with this?

I don't know exactly what the differences are, but I do know that they are not interchangeable.

Nope, the v6 grille wont fit into the GT bumper quite right. Unfortunately no one makes a grille that fits the v6 that is identical to the GT grille or a grille that fits the GT that is identical to the v6. Some of them are close but there's always a small difference.

Although I currently have a GT grille in my v6 bumper I don't recommend doing it. You have to notch your bumper, it takes an hour or two of muscling and it never looks absolutely perfect. A GT front bumper is a possibility in my future although by the time I get to that mod I may be inclined to just put the v6 grille back in. Ahead of the front bumper i've got wheels and tires, springs, adjustable panhard bar and a strut tower brace so by the time I get to it I may not have the money or like the look of the GT grille anymore.

the gt grill is 1/2 in wider and 1/4 in taller than the v6. it will go into the v6, if you pull the frt all loose and clip it in, then reinstall the frt. ( and shim the hood hook with washers) the v6 would be too small to go into a gt. i`d like to have the bullit grill with no horse, but from the dealer is about 300.00.

The Bullitt grille sells through the dealers at Retail for $313.82 CAD. I have a good relationship with my local dealer, so I get all parts at wholesale. I paid $240 CAD for my Bullitt grille. I like it. The Blue Bullitt

I like the Bullitt grill too, just not sure if I should go Black or Chrome... Decisions Decisions :-)

Totally an opinion, but for your car, I'd say black
