Default Where to wire an A/F gauge?
Soon going to be installing an air/fuel gauge and I've just been pouring over wiring diagrams looking for the wire that connects the O2 sensor to the PCM. No luck though, anyone know?

I'm puzzled... Why? Your A/F meter will have it's own O2 sensor. You'll need to have an additional bung welded in upstream of the converter.

Well it didn't come with one and in the instruction diagram it's tapped into the harness between the PCM and the O2 sensor.

Pulled this off the Autometer site. Didnt realize they had specific info.

Air/Fuel Ratio – Oxygen Sensor Gauge Installation
for 4.6 engine(s)
Gray wire with a light blue stripe at pin # 28 of the PCM. PCM located in the passenger side of the engine bay.

ewww narrowband, you could send that one back and have my narrowband for free, never been opened lol, just got my wideband tuesday, plan to install it soon, i ordered the narrowband by mistake

Lol. Well I'll see how it goes with the narrowband. Not going to be relying on it as a tuning aid, more a general diagnostic tool. Also putting in a vacuum/boost gauge and one for oil temperature.

More of a 70's disco light show than a diagnostic tool.

if its like mine red pos black neg purple O2 just run her through i assume, if you still need more detailed info, PM me i know a guy who professonaly does and drags stangs and has for years
