So I'm new to the whole working on a Mustang thing. I'm really here to learn on the mustang for my girlfriends car. She has a 2007 v6 mustang, auto tragic mustang in windviel (sp) blue. And honestly i just don't know anything about the damn car, or what parts to go for, so on so forth.
I have a 2005 Ford Focus that I have worked over pretty well so I don't mind getting my hands dirty and doing some labor myself.
So far the girlfriends car has Eibach springs with dampers, 20x8.5" front wheels and 20x10" rear wheels, ERZ Dual exaust, 20% window tint, and 2 12's and Phoenix Gold Components. Also have a GT grill and foglights sitting in the garage waiting to put on, cause well, i havent gotten around to cutting up the bumper yet.
Just not sure where to go from there or what bang for the buck i can get, so on so forth.
This is my car just to have a picture to post. And ill post a few of the girlfriends car.
CAI+tune and gears should be the next two things to get. Can you please post some pics of the mustangs tires. I've been wanting to get something like 19" by 10" rims in the rear, and 18" by 9" in the front.
BTW is 10" as wide as you can go on a sn197?

I haven't seen anyone with wider than 10's on a street driven mustang (you can cram a whole ton of rubber on those) but I have seen tubbed s197's with bigger wheels. I think you will really start having clearance issues with wider than 10 wheels.
Dude... Tell your girlfriend that her ride is tiiiiiiiiight! That wheel/tire/spring combo is as near perfect as it can be for that color car. Did she go with the sportlines or pro-kit springs?
I agree with the other people here, tuner, cai, and gears/posi will make it a totaly different car without breaking the bank
I think she is wanting to do some more exterior stuff before she gets to doing too many more go fast stuff. She wants to get the window louvers (sp), have a GT grill to make fit, still have to readjust her exhaust tips to fit.
But we are looking at getting her an x-pipe, CAI, and tuner for the next go fast mods.
are their any good front lips for the stock bumper?
and can someone show me some pics of the stock painted sideskirts?
'
my body shop will do them for 100 bucks for the pair. so we are debating it if it looks good.

Nice Mustang, not a fan of chrome but it pulls it off nicely.
The Focus doesn't look too bad, I am not a fan of the hatchbacks though. I am actually considering getting a 2005 Focus ZX4 ST. I love the ST's, two of my friends have them and they are fun. I have seen the ST's gain 25fwhp with bolt-ons which is nice out of a 4 cylinder Ford. lol The 2.3L Duratec is a very nice engine.
mine has the 2.0 duratec. Still a nice engine. I have always been a fan of the hatchback for some reason.
I just got her GT grill installed today with her factory V6 bumper. Kinda a pain, but honestly, the fit is pretty good. I need to do a little trimming on it, but yeah. Wired it in so that the fogs come on with the headlights, and go off with the hi-beams. So no need for the extra wiring and switch. but yeah. was definatly a patience testing afternoon.
