Hey all, this may sound like a dumb question, but I'm human, so here goes. I need to do cleaning/detailing in the wheelwells and want to put the car on jack stands to have all four wheels off at the same time, what is the proper placement for the jackstands?
Thanks,
Lee

Not only is it tricky, it's dangerous. Jackstands are not designed to take the entire weight of a vehicle. One end (or one side) at a time is the best way to do it.
i agree with scary. i put mine on stands for the exaust too and had to get it pretty high to get the tail pipe with the damper bracket out from under the car. its hard to keep it from rocking going up, and letting it down. i had to leave mine up for 2 days too in a 8 ft door opening, i was glad when i was done.
