hey nice job man, about 6 months ago i did the not so simple task of shoving a gt grill into my v6 bumper. you got a nice lookin car as well. if you are really bothered that much by the overhang there is a way to make it almost disappear but it takes awhile and isn't easy. what i did was make small cuts with a razor blade in certain parts of the bumper then i took a belt sander and grinded down the grill a bit on the sides and towards the back. then i had my friend push the grill as far down and back as possible while i put a screw in through the bottom. surprisingly through all of that it looks near perfect, there is no overhang, you can't see the screw, can't see any cuts, and the radiator cover still fits. and i'm happy
all in all it took me about 6 hours....
