Default 05 Mustang V6 No Cats question

I was wondering if anyone on here was running or has heard off road midpipes on a 2005+ mustang v6. My friend as a 06 gt with o/r x pipe and flows and it sounds great but some people say off road midpipes sound bad on the new V6. What do you all think??

I think off road X-pipe sounds the best for the S197

i think an offroad h pipe sounds better than the x pipe. just my opinion though. ive heard it gives a little better gain too.

Yes I was thinking about running dual exhaust with an off road h pipe to flowmaster 40's

running the O/R H with the flow 40's will, it should have a nice rumble to it at idle and low RPM. The thing i've noticed with most V6 exhaust setups (regardless of catted, off-road, or even factory Y-pipe up front) is that it has a tinny/high-pitch tone to it in about the 3K RPM area. If EVERY exhaust is gonna have that, then definitely go with with O/R H and the 40's it'll give you the best "muscle car rumble" without being too awefully loud, imo.
