I'm currently running a 2006 v6 mustang, with a K&N CAI, hypertech power tuner, and magnaflow magnapacks. MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust
I like the way my car sounds, it sounded like a ricer before I put the CAI on, but now it sounds considerably better, but still nothing like a GT.
I'm wondering, would it sound better, or rather, louder and deeper with true duals? I've done some reading, and from what people have said, an H pipe would be the way to go on a v6, because an X pipe makes it sound higher pitched, again like the ricer sound.
Just some food for thought.

+1. I have an 07 V6, and put just a single flowmaster axle back exhaust on it, and it sounds great. There isn't a ricey sound to it, but there definitely isnt that V8 sound out of it either. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, the V6 has its own unique growl in my opinion. I guess its just a matter of finding what you like, exhaust sound is largely subjective...

I just put a Gibson axle back on mine.. and I love the drone it makes.

Got a pypes dual exhaust with the Violator mufflers. Sounds great! I need to make a video.
