After having my baby for almost a year now I've finally bought all the toys i was looking up when i first bought her. 2 weeks ago i had the Flowmaster AT welded on, and so far I love it. It's a lot louder than i had thought, but at idle or full throttle that thing sound AWESOME.
I've got my K&N CAI in a box in my living room and I'm just waiting for the SCT X3 to show up from bamachips, and i ordered a painted Roush scoop as well. hopefully i can piece all that together this weekend
so from here on out its all going to be pretty expensive, it seems. i have some ideas but if anyone has any recommendations on where to go from here it'd be much appreciated.
I like your idea in step 2 about the 8.8 rear end with the 4.10's. I think you'll feel those in your seat more than anything. I'm doing the same thing with my stang this spring.
Then after that... xcharger

i'd go with an underdrive pully and coil packs with msd wires and bosch +4 platinum fussion iridium plugs. or for safety an aluminum driveshaft and safety loop. factory driveshaft is only rated at 115mph. not that i condone driveing that fast.
and who doesnt want a posi? i`m on a slow process for upgrades too. i want to get a bunch done that doesnt need the tune, then its cai and tuner. i might even throw in the posi with the stock gears for a bit. if i do go gears, i wont go much cause i want highway cruising and milage. the car gets it pretty good right now except for the weak shifting of the auto trans. everyone says the tuner will fix that. i`m not gonna get serious racing my car so the 410 is out for sure. stlwagon says the 7.5 rear end will handle up to 400 hp. a posi is 199.00 for the 7.5, do it yourself free labor,,,priceless

05 V6 auto, torch red, basic, a few mods
06 V6 stick, vista, premium (g/f`s car)
yeah should i not have? i figure its going to be on there as long as i have the car, so i didnt figure it to be too big of a deal.
and posi trac sounds nice, but i figure if i were to do anything with my rear i wouldnt beat around the bush and id go straight to 8.8" with 4.10s, might be a little much but thats why i bought a mustang
and yeah, the biggest flaw ive found in my cars performance is the throttle response and weak shifting. from what ive read the tune will clear that all right up
it's not the horse power that will break it, it's the torque. so i'd ask them what the torque tollerance is. at 400 to the wheels, i wouldn't trust it. there is a reason the 7.5 was put on the v6.
