Default Mustang V6 with Bullit mufflers?

well im about to get my first car.

Im getting 2005-2006 Mustang V6 with 12' Racing Stripes

After that happens.

Now i want to change the mufflers.

I was digging the GT takeoff mufflers.

But wouldnt it be sick if i had the Bullit mufflers.

so my question is that will the Bullit stock mufflers fit in the V6 mustang. I'm so down to do this.

Also do can i use a single muffler instead of dual exhaust. I dont want to go through the trouble getting a dual

Congrats on on your new mustang!

Yes, you can fit the bullitt mufflers on your v6, there's even an entire catback kit for it
Ford Racing Dual Exhaust Kit 2005+ Mustang V6 - M-5230-V6

You may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, but that's the kit.

It comes with an x pipe, you may want to look into an h pipe as well before you make your decision. IF there's a local mustang club around you, go to some of your local events to get an idea of the way different exhausts sound on our cars.

I was pretty much sold on the bullitt kit a video on youtube, but after hearing it in person i wasnt impressed. just make sure you get what you're looking for

Yes it I've heard a single Bullitt axle back on a v6. It was a little louder then the GT take off, but I don't think that it's worth the extra money.

I just installed a single GT axle back this weekend and I think it sounds AMAZING. It's quite when cursing and driving freeway (there is NO drone at all) and it roars in WOT! When I get some free time I'm going to make a video of it.

i have the borla axleback. its nasty. search borla exhaust 2005 v6 mustang on youtube and look for the black vert with single axleback. theres a little kid revvin the engine. that doesnt even begin to explain how awesome the axleback system borla offers sounds. ill try an get a vid up sooner or later. but do look into it. expensive i know, but worth it. borla is top of the line. period!
