Question After market drive shaft ???

Hi, I've been looking into aftermarket drive shafts. I'm not going forced injection but my speed limiter will be removed when i put in my new tune so i wanted some extra safety in case i ever get up to 120. The drive shaft is only rated for 115 but I'd like something for closer to 130 or even more.

Most of the aluminum ones thta i have looked at cost around 500 bucks, but i remember seeing someone who said they could get a gt takeoff for around 100 bucks.

I have the stock 7.5 rear end, if anyone knows of where to get a drive shaft that can handle that kind of speed for a good price, I'd be very happy to hear about it.

Also does anyone know how difficult of an install this is or is it a shop job, I have no idea at all

Thanks everyone, any extra details you could think of adding would be very much appreciated

im assuming you have the new model in which case Americanmuscle.com has some that you can buy. An aftermarket drive shaft is a great idea because the stock one is in two parts and it causes some power loss so its great handling power and giving some back to you

I don't know how mechanically inclined you are, but you should be able to do this install yourself. There are many Do-it-yourself videos, papers, etc on the internet to walk you through the process....
