Default $1000 for mods, what to get first?

Alright, so i have a 2006 V6 thats black. Right now all i have done to it is put some subs, and a deck in it. What mods would you guys do first for about $1000? I want more visual mods, i dont really care about performance since its a V6 anyways. I was thinking maybe some razors, or bullit wheels. Or a sweet new hood

thanks for all suggestions!

Add some aftermarket speakers to go with your system. The stock ones really sag in comparison to aftermarket stuff.

And just because its a v6 doesn't mean you can't run with the big boys. An intake/tune ($550-600), muffler ($50-300) and you'll beat the new Mustang GT's in the 1/8th mile. Add a set of 4.10 gears and limited slip diff and you'll be close to beating them in the 1/4 mile.

As for appearance stuff, look into some GT500 pedal covers, Eibach, Steeda or FRPP lowering springs and a new set of wheels.

hey whatsup i know if it was up to me i would consider the fact that its as vital if not more important to have it sound beastly as having a sick body kit so if i were you i would get the high performance magnaflow kit
2005 Mustang 4.0L/V6 MAC Performance Dual Cat-Back

and then maybe spend the remaining 520 on a hood..

just consider this..why should it look fast if it doesnt sound fast?

Hope this helps

well i have the shaker 500 system in there also, so i think it sounds good enough for me right now. And i appreciate the suggestions on the exhaust and stuff but i dont think performance mods are necessary for me right now.

louvers, stripes, and a new hood, or 18" black bullit rims. That might run a little over a grand, depending on if you get the replica rims or not and how much you spend on the new tires.

lower it...its my best aesthetic mod yet. i went with eiback pro kit. you get looks plus a little better performance(less squat when you stomp it off the line) and little better handling. id get some hid (8k) headlights, clear front tunr sig covers with stealth bulbs, window louvers, new grille of your personal choice, sequantial taillights...the ist could go on...i have most of these but my car is white. you can check out my pics for a closer look.

depends on what kind of wheels youre getting. i got american racing rogue 20's for the looks, im at the track once a month mayb for fast and furious night domestics vs imports and so on... so i swap to my stock wheels for that. get your wheels, decide whether you like that look alone, or accent your wheels with a more agressive stance and buy the springs. on 20's, i have plenty or clearence, but the ride is a little more harsh b/c i havent replaced my shocks and struts yet. its on the to-do list though.

ok, 18s are a good choice for a lowered car. you still have performance without the slower big wheels. you should save the money, get the wheels, have them installed, then decide on your springs. and if you decide you want the springs, and if you have any under car experience, i would suggest getting a hold of a good spring instal write up here on the forum. install the rear springs yourself and save you some money. its amazingly easy. then have a shop do the fronts. after its allsaid and done, have it aligned. honestly, its the best mod ive done (even tho im craving some new shocks and struts), visual or performance wise, next to the addicting sound of my borla axleback when it sings to the sound of my right foot. haha
