The words "traction control" are a misnomer, it is a "spin contol" and a good driver can hear/feel when the tires are breaking traction and let just enough throttle off to regain grip, the computer however takes drastic measures and cuts the throttle a whole bunch to regain grip, then slowly gets back to your original mashed setting. It will slow your launches down considerably(the traction control) . It can be usefull in say, snow or ice conditions to keep the best stick to the ground, but for performance driving, use your right foot to get the best "traction control" Besides, if you haven't loaded the firm shifting program yet, you haven't even felt half of the fun that your diablo can give you, and the firm shift program shuts it off totaly (until you load another tune) Load that one, and floor it, you will giggle like a little girl when it shifts!
