Default 2008 V6 mustang - Low Tire Pressure Alarm

The low tire pressure alarm just came on in my car, it has just got cold here and i felt it just needed topped off. Well the tire pressures listed on my door was 32 psi, i checked the tire pressures and all four tires were at 32 psi, I added a little bit of air anyways and got all the tires up to 34 psi, but the alarm didnt go away. Sometimes when I am driving it will disappear for like 2 minutes and it will come back on. Anyone know of what the problem could be, or what i can do to clear the alarm?

your car is brand new. 2008. Doesn't it still have a warranty?

I'd take it to a dealer and complain.

Mine went off a few weeks after it got cold too.. I refilled them and it went off.

the dealer can reset the code....

hopefully for free....

all the best.

it sounds like you just have a faulty sensor in one of your tires. just take it to the dealer and it should be covered under warranty. mine did that when she was new.

I could just have a friendly dealership, but I have taken mine in for a few warranty issues, and I havent had to pay a penny...

I had that same issue with my 07. I took it into the dealer for something else and he went ahead and ran around and reset all the sensors and that took care of it. I think i saw some places that sell the hardware that resets em, but it's cheaper to just take it in and spend 10 minutes waiting for them to reset em + it should be free!
