i was wondering if the supercharger from the old 3.8 thunderbirds would fit the new 4.0 mustang any ideas on how to do it or if its even possible would be appreciated

I think those were a roots syle, and without an intake that would match the blower to our heads, I would think you are out of luck. Building a custom intake would cost a whole bunch of dough, prbly could be done though.

I have looked into this.. and with out spending alot of money it can't be done.

by a lot how much we talkin cuz ive looked up s/c for our cars and they run about 4200 with a chip so if you guys think it can be done for less let me know

It would cost a fortune to have an intake custom fabricated for you.
