Hi everyone, i drive an auto 07 V6.

Stock i was running the 1/4 mile in around 15.6 but now its consistant around 15.3 and 15.4

I have an airaid cold air intake and a borla axleback muffler.

Could anyone estimate what my new time could be in the 1/4 if i use the race tune from bama chips and 4.10 gears?

Regardless of the answer, these are the next two mods I'm doing because i've heard such great things about them but i'd like to get a better idea of statistically how good they are.

I would say around 14.8 to 15. The tune will only add around 20 h.p., that would nock a couple tenths off, I would think the gear would do the same.

I think about 14.9 or so once you figure how to launch afteer the improvements. Good luck, and Enjoy.

Are you getting a t-lok with the 4.10's? Otherwise it would be a b**** to try and get traction with just the open differential...

yeah, sorry i didnt mention it before but im getting t lok installed at the same time. Hopefully done by christmass

I would think that breaking into the 14's should be possible with the gears and a good tune...

14.9-15.0 would be my guess...

I have seen guys with 4.10's, a tune/CAI and exhaust get in the middle fourteens (14.5's-14.7's) also they were running slicks.

Yeah i don't have slicks but im sure if i did mid 14's is reasonable.

Mid-high 14s with practice..
