Default help me with exhaust

i have the dual flowmasters exhaust. i don't like it cause it's so loud in the interior, it always makes that popping sound. i hear that Steeda makes an exhaust to make a v6 sound like a gt mustang. is this really true or what. or what can i do. does an x-pipe help it more, or an h-pipe. help me out please.

Shouldn't make a popping sound unless the pipes are cold.

Don't get on the throttle until the pipes are warmed up.

Excessive popping after the car is warmed up may not be a good thing (damaging to mufflers, etc), but even due to the lower back-pressure they shouldn't pop ALL the time.

Maybe someone else had similar trouble?

Guys??

more than a few guys said the h had a deeper sound than the x,,i cant say for sure, but i will say i am glad i went with the h and the gt`s. it sounds great. when i start it in the morning, and it runs high idle, it sounds deep and powerfull like a v8. ive had a couple people say that too. when the idle slows down its gets kinda quite untill i put it in gear and give it some gas. theres some noise inside but not too bad. when i punch it it comes alive and i dont get any poping at all. some people like really loud, i didnt want that. the guy across the road took his muffler off, its loud and his kinda pops when he backs off the gas and i think it just sounds like a exaust system gone bad. just my 2 cents

I agree, no muffler doesn't sound good.

You need the muffler to create that nice resonance.

Sometimes I wish I had the GT takeoffs (like when the Statie is tailgating me), but then he gets tired and gets off the highway and I can open her up again.
