Default Sorry Another Exhaust Question...

I have dual gt take offs at the moment and they don't sound bad at all, but I am looking for a deep tone, kinda like the v8s. I have been looking at all kinds of exhausts. I am bouncing back and forth from flowmaster, magnaflow, or slp powerflo. I don't want a ricey 4 cylinder tuner sound. I know it can't get it exactly like a v8, but what can i do to make it sound good? The straight through mufflers like slp powerflo, will it just been loud and not deep? Let me know what you think, what sounds the best on your v6?

The Slp's will just create noise being pretty much deletes. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

Magnaflow is always a good choice. I think you'll be really happy with them.

Then again Flowmasters have a very nice idle, but do tend to get a bit pitchy in the higher rpms, not too sure about the drone on them. But resonators can always fix that.

Borla's are always a good choice too, just a bit on the pricey side.

Have you checked out youtube yet?

I like the flow master american thunders.
They have a nice deep tone (I know I have a v8)
But they do sound nice on a 6pack!!

If you dont like the drone I wouldnt get them.
I dont now how the drone is on a 6. Check out youtube. They have alot of videos on many mufflers for our cars. If you dont like the drone I say go with the magna flow.

I've got a flowmaster AT, and I have no complaints with it. It hardly drones at all driving in town, highway it is definitely noticeable, but that is what the shaker 500 is for, right?

It's a very good exhaust, but there are lots of other good ones out there, as well. Search around and find what you like...

DONT GET MAGNAFLOWS!!! I put flowmasters on today and while they were putting it on I was talking with the guy and I mentioned I considered the 80 series magnaflows and he said it's a good thing you didn't because they're terrible quality wise. I got super 44 flowmasters and I'm more than happy with them. Here's a clip of mine if you want some comparison. My second rev went up to about 4k.
