What do you mean by "better"? We are talking apples and oranges here. The turbo (or SC for that matter) is a constant hp upgrade, power on demand of the right foot. The Nitrous on the other hand can be used once a day/week/month/ or year for that matter. I don't know If I agree with someone elses post that it can be done without tuning though, you certainly don't want to go lean and fry a piston, so a tune for nitrous would be advised. Nitrous can get your car in the traps in the same manner that a SC or turbo can. It just depends on the risks you are willing to take, as it historicaly has been one of the more detramental hp upgrades. It certainly can be done safely, but a sc or turbo can be done safley/with more ease in my oppinion. All of the hp upgrades are good, but they all have shortcommings, nitrous is only there when you ask it to be, (a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it) Turbo's take time to spool up,...... Superchargers lack high rpm umph....(these are just the things people say) so... it just boils down to how much do you want to spend, and how fast do you want to go? and what "drawback" are you most willing to deal with? Neither is better, they are all awesome.
