is there really a big diffrence in the 3.31 vs 3.73 gears, i mean am I really going to notice it?

Yeah, as much as the drop in gas mileage as well, that's the downside

No, it doesn't sound fishy at all, concidering I just purchased a 8.8 posi with FRPP 4.10 gears for $900 delivered to my front door. Figure about $150 or more was shipping, and that means that I paid about $700-$750 for the rear end itself. Yours will come to about $550 delivered. Sounds about right given that it only has the 3.31 gears.
