So I was backing down a friends drive way tonight. Well, it's a gated home so the gate has to open of course, and it does. Only it doesn't stay open long... The gate karate chops my passenger mirror off and now I need a new one. Anyone know where I could possibly get one?
Try mossmustang, americanmuscle or v6mustangstuff. On one or more of the major accessory companies I've seen oem replacement mirrors and they don't cost that much either.

did the gate lay in waiting to KO this mirror? Sounds like the gte needs to go to a feel good anger management class,it obviously has problems.
The driver should have to pay his friend for damages to the gate..
But it sounds like the driver isnt as upset as you.

Actually I didn't hit the gate. I was backing downhill on unever pavement so I was going slow so I didn't end up in the wall since it's narrow. The gate is supposed to stay open for like 45 seconds or something and stayed open for like 10. My friend already offered to pay (I won't let them) since they didn't know why it closed so early.

For those of you that live on the East coast and don't know, suing over nothing is a standing joke in California. There's a reason why California is referred to as the Left Coast and not the West Coast. If your coffee isn't hot enough at the restaurant you threaten to sue.
