They are listed under 4 inch Mustang driveshafts. We feel that it is a great price when compared to the competition's prices. Even at this reduced price we are not selling nearly as many as we had hoped to. With the economy being what it is and Christmas around the corner most people don't have the spare cash right now.

Shaftmasters - Just out of curiosity, is there any possibility of working out a group buy deal on 4.0 drive shafts?
Our current price of $449.99 with free shipping in CONUS is a rock bottom price, we couldn't go any lower then this. With the economy being what it is we felt that at least we're making alittle profit at this price while also helping you guys with a great price reduction over the regular market price.
so the work shop made a custom ds for me
that coast me 200$
and it is a miss
now i feel a strong vibration and the car performance lowered alot
i can't speed @ all with this strong vibration
the driveshaft they gave you mostlikley isnt balanced, or it is warped, my friend had this happen to his truck, it was an automatic, and he couldnt do a burnout in it, so he got pissed off reved it to 4k, and dropped it into drive, and it completely twisted the driveshaft, and he had a major vibration until he get a new driveshaft.
so if I get the DS from shaftmasters, I wont have to worry about it snapping at high speeds like the stock v6 DS, and also if I order one will I need any extra parts to bolt it on or when I recieve I can just replace?
if your car is fixed, from the previously mentioned problem, yes the DS should be a very simple swap and should put your mind at ease for any further excursions into the realm of Ludicrous Speed,,
Just be sure to use loctite and torque the bolts properly.
I got the Shaftmasters a few months ago to get rid of the vibration from the factory shaft after changing my rear end. My factory shaft was .051 out of round. That's huge.
I still have a slight vibration at higher speeds, but I still don't have the safety loop so I don't get it up that high. I think my vibration comes from the rear end not being properly shimmed or chasis&body connection somewhere. A bad drive shaft can make that more apparent.
To install, nothing else is needed. It's a direct swap. Some might recomend new bolts (8), but the right torque and thread lock has kept mine together so far.
I have had a shaft masters DS since I added a X charger about 6 mos, I love it, I get a little vibration when I'm really in the SC, around 80mph, overall I like it...definitely go with a DS loop just in case, I have the CHE with torque stabilizers, I agree with MR Jimmy...not hard at all to install, don't forget the lock tight..
