I have noticed a small portion of a clear liquid not necessarily a thick type grease on the garage floor by the tires.Sometimes just the left front or left rear or the right front and right rear.This liquid is either on the outside of the tires on the floor on just in front of the tires on the floor.

Now my question is:what the h#ll can this be?I have checked my brake fluid level and it is full.Also there is no liquid on the rims and I have no wheel bearing noise at all.All brake lines are good and no leaks or brake fluid on them.Has anybody had this unusual issue with their car?Any thoughts on what this might be or what's causing this?This only happens once in a blue moon.Not an everyday thing.The liquid feels kinda like trans fluid but a little thicker than that and is clear.All info and help will be greatly appreciated concerning this matter.Sure has me stumped.Thanks.

Could it be your shocks leaking?

could it be from the wheel wells? something you drive through? does the floor sweat? was your car undercoated? when its warm outside or just cold? after the car being washed? i`m guessing not something leaking on the car.

Did you smell it by chance? mybe that will provide a clue...

Shocks are fine.Yes I baby the car.Garage queen.Never seen rain or bad weather.The liquid type stuff is like 3-5 inches on the OUTSIDE of the tire/tires or 3-5 inches in front of them.Liquid doesn't smell,almost feels like synthetic oil but it's clear and a little thicker.As stated before,nothing on rotors,pads,calipers,rims or tires.It's like something/maybe GREMLINS LOL,justs puts a little of this on the garage floor just out side or in front of a tire/tires.Just weird how there's nothing on the car,like fender wheels,etc that I can find.I will give the car a look see in a little while and let you know if I find something.Thanks for your replies and suggestions.Also this only happens maybe once every 2-3 months if that.

Has the family dog been acting strange lately.

Has me baffled.Looked under the car,front and rear.No signs of any leaks or anything that could have been contacted by this stuff.It is clear and does have a filmy feel to it and is clear.It's like something just drops this in about a 3 inch by 3-4 inch spot on the garage floor.Rotors,calipers,rims and tires are clean and show no signs of being in contact with this stuff.Shocks look good and don't show that they are leaking anywhere.If they were it would be physically impossible for the stuff to be where it is without contacting anything else between the shocks and the floor where it is.Guess I could take a picture of this and post it.Don't know if that would help or not.Thanks for all your info and input.Clinton.
