Default 2005 Mustang V6 4.0 bosch spark plugs

longalan2 recomended these plugs, and i think the 4.0 does run better with them vs. the motorcraft platinums.

I plan on getting those soon. I had those on my Chevy truck and it made it run a lot better

NGK Irdium would be much better than Bosch by far.

Part #4477 [OE Style Laser Iridium Plug]
gap @ .052

Sells for 11.99/ea best you can get.

Any specifics on what exactly is "better"? I have never noticed anything positive by replacing an already good sparkplug, were yours bad? I have in the past noticed a decrease in mpg's and response when trying out new plugs. Not to be a jagoff, but without numbers/data I'd say what your seeing is a placebo effect.

Do they still make Crossfire plugs?

i`m checking my milage with the bosch plugs this week. i`m waiting till next weekend to fill and check it. the drop in k&n, the dual exaust, and the coil and wires( allready motorcraft platinums in it) gave me allmost 2 mpg more, on a couple tanks of gas. net gains seem to be hard to come by in reality. none the less, i`m checking it with the bosch plugs now.i`m not really expecting to much if any difference in mpg. i didnt care for the look of the motorcraft platinum electrode with the .065 gap.( and they look just like that nkg) after 5000 miles, i could see how it was firing off one side of the plug, but they look ok and i`ll hang onto them.

i upgraded from ngk with only about 20,000 miles on them. when i put the new bosch +4 fussions in, the car ran smoother and just felt a little better all around. even better responce and my wife said that it sounds a bit deeper too.

sorry guys, i blew it checking the mpg`s on the bosch plugs. i was in the middle of running a good check when my cai and tuner came in the mail. i just couldnt wait to install that stuff, so i had to sacrifice the milage test. but if anyone else out there tests it out, i`d like to know the results
